All prayer meetings to be held in Capitols both National and State will be held in trbute to our precious Sister in Jesus Christ, Chaplain, Arlene McElhenney. Therefore they are called the "Arlene McElhenney Capitol Prayer Meetings"
"The Lord used Arlene to open up the doors to the Capitol's and leaders many years ago and has given her life to Jesus in praying for those who are in authority"
The Capitol-Capital Prayer Ministry of the U.S. National Prayer Council is dedicated to establishing prayer in every Capital City in both America and all the nations of the world. Many of these prayer meetings take place within the Capitol buildings themselves.
There is a strong emphasis placed on praying for those in authority in the bible and the prayer council seeks to obey and encourage everyone to become involved in praying in the strategic seat of our goverment. "In many cases we cannot disclose where some of these meetings take place due to sensitive privacy issues."
